Character Description

Daniel Bright is the father of Matthew Bright. He was a police officer who taught his son a great deal of respect for the law.

When the government tried to take control of the children after Lee Jackson killed an abusive camp counselor, Daniel Bright led the parents in their court battle. He took the case all the way to the Supreme Court, which ruled that the children should stay with their parents.

His Fate: Daniel Bright was killed in the line of duty while chasing a liquor store robber.
